Account Deletion Policy

Permanent Action Notice: Deleting your account is irreversible. Once confirmed, your profile, match history, chat messages, and subscription benefits associated with this account will be permanently closed.

At JustFurl, we believe you should always be in full control of your personal information. You can delete your account at any time directly within the mobile application or by submitting a verified deletion request to our support team.

1. How to Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest and most direct way to delete your account is through the JustFurl app settings:

02 Go to Settings

03 Select Account

04 Delete Account

05 Confirm Request

2. What Happens Immediately Upon Deletion

When you confirm the deletion of your account, the following actions take place immediately:

Profile Removal Your profile, photos, bio, and personal details are removed from discovery and public view.

Matches & Conversations All active chats, message history, and connections are cleared and unlinked.

Location & Preferences Your geolocation data, discovery filters, and customized matching preferences are purged.

In-App Subscriptions Active premium privileges on the deleted account terminate. Note that app store subscriptions (Apple App Store or Google Play) must be cancelled separately through your device settings.

3. Data Retention & Legal Exceptions

While your profile is immediately taken offline and inaccessible to other users, certain limited records may be retained temporarily in our secure backups for legal, safety, and compliance purposes:

Safety & Fraud Prevention Identifiers associated with reported violations or fraud may be retained for up to 90 days to prevent banned individuals from circumventing safety systems.

Financial & Legal Compliance Financial transaction logs and formal legal records are stored in compliance with local tax, commercial, and data protection laws.

4. Alternative: Pausing Your Account

If you only want to take a break from JustFurl without losing your existing conversations, matches, and profile photos, you can choose to Pause Discovery in your app settings. When paused, your profile is hidden from new users while keeping your data intact until you decide to return.

5. Unable to Access the App?

If you have lost access to your device or are having trouble deleting your account through the app, you can submit a manual deletion request. Our support team will verify your account ownership and process the deletion within 30 days.
